Janene is thrilled to join the Girls Leadership team where she gets to combine her financial talents, which she has honed for over 25 years, with her passion for girl empowerment. A Cal Poly graduate, she started at Oracle Corporation and enjoyed working as the Real Estate Controller before leaving to raise her three daughters. While chasing and driving those girls from adolescence to teenagers she joined several boards for non-profits and discovered a passion for volunteering and giving back. Janene loves working with girls and has spent the last eighteen years as a Girl Scout leader for three troops enjoying moments when the girls have leadership opportunities that impact their self-confidence and self-esteem. A Bay Area native she still loves all that it offers – an abundant amount of hiking trails, heading to the beach or off to the mountains.
