Jamie McKenna is a Bay Area native and long-time youth advocate. She is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice, as well as a veteran educator with Girls Leadership. She loves supporting girls and their grown-ups through Girls Leadership programs, and she believes deeply in the power of voice, choice and artistic expression. Prior to Girls Leadership, Jamie worked in schools as a child and family therapist, and in the great outdoors as a multi-week course instructor for teens through Environmental Traveling Companions.
Jamie enjoys time outside with her children and family, whether that’s cheering on a soccer game, gardening near her chickens or hiking Bay Area trails.
