Emily Pillars

Emily is a Real Estate and Venture Capital partner in the San Francisco office of PwC. She has over 20 years of experience serving clients with PwC. She has worked on several clients including public/private real estate investment trusts (“REITs”), private real estate funds, hotel operators, commercial and residential owners, operators and developers and mortgage lending institutions.   Prior to coming to San Francisco, Emily worked in PwC’s National Office in the SEC Services group for two years, where she consulted with clients on matters of accounting, auditing and financial reporting. In the San Francisco office, Emily is the Market Team Leader for one of the Financial Services assurance teams running the people, business and operations of that team. She is also the assurance partner champion for the San Francisco Women’s Inclusion Network.

Emily received a Bachelor of Science in Management degree in accounting from Tulane University. She is a CPA licensed in the states of California and Texas and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her two children and husband dancing, riding bikes and travelling.
