Dillan Arrick

New York Regional Director

Dillan joins Girls Leadership with an extensive background in theater, communications and the nonprofit sector, as well as a personal passion for empowering young women. After receiving a B.A. in Communications from Northwestern University, she worked as an actor in both New York and Los Angeles for several years. She shifted her focus to public relations, working at two New York-based agencies, Michelle Lehmann Communications and Derris.

Most recently, Dillan had the unique opportunity to take over her late-mother’s nonprofit, Hearts, which connects underserved young women to the arts. Run in association with educational development nonprofit College Track, Dillan led strategy and execution on all aspects of the redevelopment process, from branding, communications and marketing, to fundraising and program development. Dillan is thrilled to continue to work in the space with Girls Leadership, supporting girls and aiding in the development of their belief system, self-expression, and confidence.

Dillan is a mentor at TEAK Fellowship, an active volunteer with Sing for Hope, and spends her spare time learning French, seeing shows, and hanging with her husband, pup and new baby girl. Although technically a New Yorker given the duration of years she’s lived here, Dillan is very proud of her native San Franciscan roots.
