Amal Aziz joins Girls Leadership bringing extensive experience in equity-centered and love-driven nonprofit and educational leadership serving youth, families, and communities throughout California.
Amal has received her Masters in Education, with a major in Equity and Social Justice from San Francisco State University. Her experiences as a first generation Egyptian-American motivated her cumulative study on inclusivity and engagement strategies for SWANA youth in K-12 educational systems.
Alongside her work with Girls Leadership, Amal serves on the California Afterschool Network Leadership Team working to increase access to high-quality out-of-school time programs for youth. In her spare time, Amal enjoys baking, dabbling in various forms of art, and time with music, friends, family, and her dog, Stevland.
